Default XP with BigHorns

Has anyone with an 850XP installed Bighorns yet? I'm thinking about dumping the terriblethons for something else. I had a set of XTRs on my SP700 & wasn't all that thrilled, so I'm thinking BH's this time. I've read HighOctane's thread about modding the rear swaybar & I'm willing to do it if I need to. I'd rather do that than put spacers on.

Hello, Ive got the original bighorns( not the 2.0) on my stock wheels , though I did use spacers. There are negatives to spacers but what Ive enjoyed out of them is this. 1. your rear track is wider so you bite on the outside of ruts rather than being stuck in the middle. 2. with the added width of tire + the width of the spacer the tire sticks out from the fender about 2 inches. it keeps the rear fenders from rubbing trees and it throws the hell out of some mud. As for the tires they do great. even with the 850 they feel considerably heavier than the stockers but the added traction on wet ground makes up for it.

I know one of the members here with an XP has done HIGHOCTANE's sway bar mod and has put Bighorns on the quad and I believe he is happy with them.

Yep, I did, The mod or spacers are needed with the stock rims. I didn't notice any power loss with the bighorns. I believe they were only a few lbs. heavier per tire when I weighed them.
