how do i check that?</end quote></div>
The manual (Clymer) just says have the cap pessure tested it does not say how, I would bring the cap to a automotive rad shop and ask if they can do it.</end quote></div>
agree with that, and to bleed it, run the bike with the cap off and see if it bubbles all the air out of it and the coolant level goes down

i took apart the water pump. i think to do it correctly i should have removed the block from the frame??
the empellor looks fine, but there is play in it. not back and forth, but up and down. the shaft does look to secure. a lot of play in it. also, when i took the cover off, the nut for the empellor was already off and it is chewed up pretty bad.
i know i need a new nut, but should that play be in the shaft?? hopefully i have found my answer??
