Default 2007 Sportsman 700 Spring Issues

Hi all. I have a 2007 Sportsman 700 EFI That I bought new in 2008. I've got a few miles on it now, and had no problems at all EXCEPT that the rear springs are too soft. Even with the preload set at max setting, when I ride with my son in the passenger seat on the back, we routinely bottom out in the rear. Does POLARIS offer a heavy duty spring for use on the rear of this machine? How about any aftermarket choices? Part numbers would be great. Thanks in advance.......Jon H.

I put M-V 700 springs on the rear of mine , they are the heaviest polaris makes, pretty inexspensive too. The other options are X-2 springs, or call EPI, they make all kinds of aftermarket springs.

I have an 05 sp 700 twin and mine seem way too hard. I have it on the softest setting, luckey if the shock moves and inch or two while riding over uneven terrain. I weigh about 160lbs. I can sit on the rear rack and it only goes down maybe an inch. This has been with all my IRS machines. 500,600,700cc's. Maybe jumping and riding hard loosens them up, but thats not how I go about using an 800lb machine. Guess this dont help you much.
