The service manual calls for loctite thread sealant 505 when putting the screen fitting back in. Can't seem to find that anywhere. Anyone know where to buy it? If not I guess I will just use sealant tape.

just dont use red loctite as it would be hard to get off. acts like cement in some cases.

I can't seem to find the engine sump drain plug to get the extra oil out. I have the manual but can't decipher where the plug is at in my dark garage! Anyone know an easy way to explain how I can find it? Thanks..

I have a 2008 Polaris 500 EFI. What is envolved in adjusting the valves?

I have the service manual for your bike if you are interested, shoot me a PM, and I'll send you the link

Also, I don't think you need to check the valves yet, the book says 620 miles or 100 Hours, which IMO, is plenty early too

Also it involves pulling the valve cover off, and removing the timing inspection plug, and then making sure it's at TDC, and then using feeler gauges to check the gap, which should be .006" or .15mm for both the intake and exhaust valves
