AMEN!

Any dealership around the MD/DC/VA area? Cuz I did the same dang gone thing. Its stripped. I think it is really a poor **** design. I REALLY LIKE POLARIS but... on this
one, they need to do something about it. No issues on the SP450!

Question Play in Silent Chain

When I changed my tranny fluid today on my 800, at about 25 hrs because of Silent chain rubbing drain plug, doe's anyone know how much play should be in the chain. I can put my finger in the drain hole, touch the chain and there is slack.More than I think there should be. Mind you, I have had this replaced once under warranty and the atv only has 1200 miles.

Thank's for your help. I did grind the plug down some

Outback where you all going? We just got back from Little Coal river about a month
ago.

Stendori, how much should be grinded down on the plug? What do you gauge it by?

Thanks,

on the drain for the trans. there is a magnet that is in the plug and you have to grind it down enough so the magnet no longer will stay in the grooves of the plug. i just took it down to a point where the where marks from the chain were gone.

Is this also a problem for the SP500 or SP700's? My other cuz has the 06' 800 Sportsman too. I am assuming he is at risk?

Thx,
