Default 08 polaris razor 4X4 problem

Hey guys, anyone out there what would most likely be the problem if when i put it in 4x4 all 4 wheels turn in forward but in reverse only my rear wheels turn. The u-joint right before the front diff is turning when in reverse but i get nothing to the wheels. Any suggestions out there??

Plastic roller cage syndrome by the sounds of it. Do a seach on this site with key phase

"Roller cage" or "No AWD" and read all about it.

Is there some kind of reverse override switch like there is on the quads? The quads have a yellow button that must be pressed if you want 4wd in reverse. This only works when you have it in 4wd as you mentioned.

i would check the override idea first. if that is working correctly then agreed its most likely the roller cage.

From the ones i saw theres a yellow switch by the speedo. Try pressing that or holding it in reverse to get AWD to the front hubs

There is no reverse overide on the Rzr. That button is to flip through screens on the speedo.
I'd tend to agree with TLC. If you have AWD in forward, but not reverse, it sounds like the cage is cracked or broken.

well if it has no overrdie then yea it does sound like it would be the weak roller cage in the front end.
