but if this is the older type with out the scroll feature. it wont matter. since pre 05 or 04 dont have all the crap on the speedo. then they were just a speed, trip and hr meter. my 00 sportsman was.and the only thing the yellow button did was full power/4x4 in rev.

 

My 2004.5 600v has the newer speedo that tells RPM, HRS, Mileage, and some more stuff, unlike my 2002 700 that only tells Hours and Mileage. Anyone done this on an 2004?

 

dose ur wheeler have the gear indacators display on the speedo?

 

Is there a way to wire in a relay for the reverse override for an '08 sportsman efi? I have the info on how to wire in a switch, but really don't want an extra switch. I'd rather have it work automatically. My wife and I are the only two people who ride it, so I don't have to worry about anyone else trying to go 50mph in reverse. Thanks.
