How to check fluids on a Scram 400.
#2
If you take the seat off, and look down past the airbox, you will see a grey cap with what looks like a slot for a slotted screwdriver. That is your counter-balance fluid. The tranny fluid looks like a regular oil dipstick handle. It's located behind the plastic guard by your right foot.
Also, I never have been able to find a funnel small enuff to fit in any of the fluid refill holes. I bought a flexible shaft funnel, bought a battery tester, you know, the turkey baster type. I cut the end off of it, and it fit perfectly into the hole on the end of the funnel. It fits perfectly into all the fluid access holes, yet the flexible part allows you to navigate the end into the tightest of places.
