jacked it up today and checked it out.. it doesn't move around as much as the other side.. took the tire off and moved the boot back so i could see and i think that there is a broke spot in the cv joint.. i'll try to get a picture up in the morning, i'm working in the afternoons this week..

i've been looking around online and can not find anywhere the price of a turner axle.. would you put a turner or gorilla axle?? what i've read is gorilla is the same same axle as stock but bigger cv joints and turner is alot bigger than both.. one more question. could i replace them one at a time or would i need to replace them all at the same time.. thanks for any help...

im not an expert but i have rebuilt quite a few CV joints and shafts for my friends...i have rebuilt both the front ones on my suzuki vinson... i didnt really read all the post so forgive me if im repeating what some one else has said... basically if its poping its junk... its only going to get worse... and they do explode sometimes when then go and its not fun trying to get them home when you have your shaft banging around under the machine... when mine started popping the first time i found out that it was the grove that the ***** inside the joint run in... i had put enough pressure on the joint for the ***** to wreck that grove and then everytime the ball would go by the divets it made in the grove it would pop and catch... until it finally exploded the cage that holds the *****... in both my cases the out joint was the one that went and you can not buy just that end you have to buy the hole shaft for $389... i could get gorillas for $349... but in my case im a machinest and i was able to remake the parts that i screwed up and have them hardened and saved my self some money... gorillas are the way to go if your going to replace them... and if you dont do it soon you will end up wrecking the bearings as well... depending on your experience it shouldnt take you more then an hour to fix... greaseing them will only make the noise go away for a bit but the problem is still there...
if you have a ?'s let me know and i will help any way that i can....
good luck

Not all true. You can get a OEM polaris end joint. You dont have to buy the whole thing. Ive rebuilt two of my buddys outer joints that didnt have a thing wrong with them inner. NOt sure pricing but if you jsut want to replace one id go OEM. I wouldnt wait till it completely breaks jsut in case it is a catastrophic as he said. My buddy rode his till it broke but it just didnt give power so he was riding around in one wheel drive.
