Default XP850 gas gauge

Has anyone ell's had their fuel gauge jump around?
Sometimes when I get down to a little more than halfway it starts to jump around. It will all of a sudden show one bar in empty and then after a couple of minutes show 2 bars above empty. I think I’m running low on gas so I start to head back then it goes back up. usually jumps two bars at a time.
Is this normal or should I get this looked at before the warranty runs out. Like maybe the float is getting stuck, or is this normal with digital fuel gauge.

My gauge will change a little bit depending on angle, but usually only one bar. I would atleast have it checked before the warranty expires. They will probably say its normal, but atleast you will have a claim documented while still under warranty.

neither one of my XPs jumps around - in fact, I have found the XP gas guage to be a whole lot more reliable than any of the older sportsman's

Use the trip meter and / or hour meter as a backup. Or carry a gallon of extra gas. An XP850 is too heavy to push!.

NOT NORMAL! You should get it checked out before warranty expires!
