Need help Locating the VIN on a 1996 Polaris Magnum 425 2x4
I got over the winter a 1996 Polaris Magnum 425 2x4. The only numbers I can find, which are the ones the owner said was the VIN, are W9675442932584. Thats not a valid VIN number though.
The top plastic above the headlight sayd VIN: 2932584. Which is not a valid VIN either.
I looked on the left front side of the frame where it is on our 2001 Trailblazer and on our 1998 Scambler 500, but there is nothing there.
Cant do much with this ATV without an OHV sticker on it.
Please help!

polaris may have not changed over the to long vin number until later. i know that anything up to around a 97-98 model used the short vin number. maybe regulations didnt make atv's go to a standard vin in 1983.
regardless you have the correct vin number that polaris issued for that bike.
if they are entering it into a computer to try and bring the bike up try tellin them to enter some zeros either infront of it or after it
