clutch springs
Hi, I've had a real bad string of luck to make it short and simple my wheeler needs work and I have no cash....BUT i do have old sleds laying around....are there clutch springs and weights from a sled that will work for my 96 xplorer 300??? I have turned my 4x4 into a 2x4 took all kinds of weight out of the front new chain belt rear sprocket and 1 tooth smaller sprocket in front and WOW she'll do wheelie!!!!! ALOT more power in the woods...want to play with clutch but was wondering if i might be able to use sled springs and weights maybe....seems like my clutch doesn't engage untill almost half throttle want low end....heavy springs? or lighter?

So keep the spring and play with the weights? I don't do alot if any road riding or wide open riding all tight woods...I mean lets face it this machine isn't the fastest thing out there. If I loose ALL top end I wouldn't be moving!!! I'll prolly just wait and buy a clutch kit when I have the $
