So does mine. It's not a problem. It's a big pump and it makes some noise.

I broke my dipstick and was at the dealer today with a rig that broke theirs off too. Not a big deal, it just sit at the bottom. There are screens and filter to keep it out of the interior.

Your machine sounds fine to me. Just ride it and enjoy it.
