Do I fill the tranny fluid at the dipstick #41 ??? ( I do have these diagrams thanks)

Also- The Crankcase,
I recently bought the 1998 express 300, not running. Did my own troubleshooting after the last owner put 600 into it and sold it t me for that. Found no compression. Piston was shot. I have completed the rebuild, but think I should check the crankcase fluid. How do I drain and refill it (and with what excactly). I think I found the drain plug.
The case looked to be about half full when I pulled the cylinder.

It looks to me like #42 and 43 are the fill plug and washer. Don't fill past this point if that's right! The drain plug should be at the bottom back side but I'm not sure!

 

Fill it at dipstick.
