18 miles? 300 miles in the back yard?

That is experience with the 850? LOL

Totally jerkin' you guys around. Nothing personal or serious. You know you made the right choice for yourself. The thread is fun though.

I could care less. I have made mistakes before when purchasing atv's. Hell, I guess that is why I have purchased as many as I have.
If you talk about the Can-Am you get labeled as one of those "Can-Am People". Give me a break.
Countryboy , when I talk about the Polaris 850, it is from experience and my OPINION.
I can tell you for a fact that my Outty is w/o a doubt quicker and faster than my 850 was. I can tell you w/o a doubt that I can trail ride just as easy and faster than I did with my 850.
I have never heard of anyone saying their older model Can-Am was/is faster than a 2010 model.. But hey, what do I know...
Yeah man,it is the Polaris forum,so I get it. I would be right here with Roofer if I wasn't the one who went to a Can-Am and had such a positive experience so far.
And you know there always has to be one guy who doesn't have a dog in the fight, to try to start something just to do it...

300 miles in the back yard huh?? Oh really...my 850 has been ridden in NC,SC and FL and a couple places in between there smartass..nice try though...I bet your 300 miles were ran in the garage on jack stands. lol. Detail your 850 ridng experience for us...really lay it out for us? I guarantee I have more real world experience on the 850 than you do,hell any ATV for that matter. You done pissed me off with your snide remarks over the months...good job. I'll ride circles around you I promise. Stick to your hammer. Don't try to throw in the nothing personal BS...it has happened too many times. You officially made my jackass list Roofer. I know you have been trying to **** me off for quite a while with the snide BS...well congrats you have done it.

sheeesh, settle......

I had to quote this just in case you edited again.

Most of my miles are actually in the back of my 1 ton pickup.

Was serious when I said nothing personal. Really don't care anymore now.

Too late for settling...I have had enough of your smart *** remarks, including the one above..always have to sneek one in....I've blown off you little smartass remarks for the last time.
Yes I do edit my posts,...not to chage facts but to make sure the post is accurate. None of my editing changes the jist of my posts. I suck at typing and need to learn to proof read before I post..always seems I think of something to add after I hit submit...SUE ME.

You people.... lol. Congrats on being the BEST Kawifan, you the man. I have a feeling that anything you ride will be the fastest and best. Go to Can-Am Talk and find out how many say the older Outty is faster than the new. I'll tell you what I know... Kawifan needs to be sent a box of kleenex. Easy fellas, ton't take the bait so easily. lol

Countryboy,
You can take that Kleenex and and stick it in your big piehole..
It's funny you know so much about the 850XP since you don't ride or own one..
I don't have a problem telling the good or the bad about a machine..
I have probably owned & ridden more machines than you ever will.
I could care less about owning the fastest..If I wanted to own the fastest utility I would have purchased an AC1k.
In reference to the older Can-Am's being faster than the newer models, I said I had never heard anyone say their older Outty is faster than a "2010" Outty 800....
Like I said, I could care less...

Kawifan...don't sweat it...country is just playing follow the leader..trying to breath a breath onto a fire.

All I have to say to those who truly seek good info...ride both of the machines and decide for yourself...if any one has ridden an XP and a 2010 Can-Am 800(more than around the dealers parking lot) I welcome your comments and questions about my opinions...the rest is just going to be a buch of useless back and forth...

Ok...I am off to ride. Too bad it had to go this way...but I must say I applaud the members who frequent ATVconnection's Polaris section, reall a top notch bunch of guys. I'm suprised it took this long for someone to let there pride get in the way.
