buy a cpl pair of long johns and layer.

 

I usually wear long johns, jeans, then my insulated carhart's, and on top I wear a long sleeve long john type shirt, then a tshirt, then a long sleeve something (turtle neck sometimes), and then I usually just wear a hoody over that, but if it's nasty cold, I'll put the carhart coat in the truck, along with my extra boots and socks

 

Great info here Mr thor are you planning on getting 12volt heated clothes? I have checked out liners from gerbings cant go wrong here also check out the outer wear with armor looks like you could get close to 1000 bucks to be warm. Having 575 watts of power on my machine with all of the items listed insole,pants,jacket,gloves,plus running the lights plus engine electrical will be close to maximin stator output. here is another 12volt only site http://cozywinters.com/heated-clothing/

 

I was lucky found a nice all black tall snowmobile jacket and bibs with brand new-60 Sorel boots & also -40 used snowmobile boots for $120 delivered! With what I saved I am going to purchase a nice modular snowmobile helmet w/heated shield and some warm gloves. ;-)

 

Add a set of heated grips and a thumb warmer along with a windshield and You will be set to go.
I do a lot of icefishing so I went with the Carhart Arctic Extreme coveralls and coat.
