Default Cellanoid Problem?

I have 05 Sp 500, and I fully charged the battery. When I turn the key on I hear the cellanoid clicking. All of the speedometer lights work. I can pull start it and get it running, and it rusn fine but when I turn the lights on it dies. Would the cellanoid be bad or any other suggestions?

Default Solonoid Problem

check all conections especially all GROUNDS and you can jump the solonoid with the key on to see if the solonoid is bad. First check your battery voltage if its a lil low will give U problems. Sounds like the battery or and not charging.Especially when you turn lights on and dies....

I bought a new battery and after a few weeks of sitting the battery was dead.

sounds like you having something draining the battery like a short or something powereed on all the time. if theres not a 12 volt constant flow of power and a charging system that is working correctly then when you hit the lights to require more power then it would robthe power from the engine cauisng it to shut it off as it did. if your battery is 100% charged and the solenoid is wokring correclt then it would start w/ the key. as mentioned above w/ the key on jump the to big wires on the solenoid and it should turn the starter over. if it does then the solenoid is bad. but something else is an issue if the battery is being drained just by sitting. imo
