Sportsman 800 top speed?

Can any of you out there with stock 800s tell me what the top speed for your ride is? I bought a new 800 touring and after breaking it in for 10hr I finally decided to find out last weekend. I was not happy with what I found. The engine RPM seems to max out at about 3/4 throttle if that, and top speed was about 55mph. The 500 H.O. I traded in would run that fast. Granted the 800 gets there a lot quicker but something still doesn't seem right.
If you want speed in a utility quad, look elseware.

Obviously the guy who started the thread cares..and if you took ther time to read this isn't his 1st Polaris Sportsman...
