Question 2006 Polaris 500 EFI Problem?

K guys ive got a 06 500 ho and today i was driving along at about 26 30 mph and all of the sudden the stupid thing shut off. Now i dont have any electrical power to the gauge pod or anything. The batterys fully charged it has self resetting breakers so fuses are not the problem, all wiring looks fine? And another thing the speedo needle is still stuck at 27 mph? Anyone know what could of happened here?

PS: I am kinda aiming towards the voltage regulator

Thanks.

Does it have a Sure Power Module Box?.....ECM?
My first Module shut the Quad off when my headlights were turned on.
If your headlight switch is in the on position turn them to off with the key out and try to start the Quad again without the light switch on......

There are two solid state ciccuit breakers in there that will shut the Quad down for safe reasons and for protection from any damage......This is on my carb model.not 100% sure if the EFI has the same box........Caper.....

The two breakers on my 2006 Sp 450 are inside the ECM not servicable by hand(on-off).......................They can be reset just from turning the Quad off then on again............

make sure your emergench shut down switch was not inadvertently shut off. Left (handlebar thumb switch).
ECM's can often be reset to factory settings by disconnectiong the battery for a few minutes.

Default Polaris 450 shuts quad off when headlights are turned on

Hi there! We have the same problem. When we turn the headlights on, the quad turns off. How did you fix your problem?

Thanks!

Kathy
