Default waterproof 2005 polaris 500

i have recently bought a 2005 polaris 500 and i want to water tight everything but i am not sure where to start if any one can show me pictures and tell what spots i need to repair that would be good

waterproof? are you turning your atv into a boat by any chance lol. alot of people use silcone on the cluth cover to stop water from coming in.

Save yourself alot of grief and silicon the pull rope handle in place,lots of expensive parts that do not like water behind that recoil cover.

Alot of people use di-electric grease on wire connections. I haven't had a problem in water up to headlight deep. I didn't grease mine.
