polaris questions

I would think that "shifting on the fly", be it from low to high (or any gear), or 2WD to 4WD is not advisable on ANY machine.
Not sure about the Grizz, but you can go from 2WD to 4WD on the Polaris while moving, but it won't engage it above a certain RPM. If you engage it and the wheels are spinning... you'll do some damage... therefore not advisable.

the grizz has a shorter wheelbase which makes it more nimble but you sacrifice climbing ability because of that. the polaris is about 3 inches longer in the wheel base and is also a little wider. the longer wheel base gives a better ride and handling. the grizz will be the least expensive also.

not sure on the grizzly, but my buddy has put his 07 through some pretty harsh 800 miles and hasnt had an EPS problem yet. im hoping the polaris EPS is just as tough.

2. 2009 850's had rotors/brakes on all 4 wheels. 2010's Polairs cheaped out and went back to the single rear brake on the right side.
the braking isnt bad, but i liked the idea of 4 wheel discs.
