1in9twist Is your name what your 700 did down that hill or a AR barrel reference of some sort?

Those are recovery points that you can put shackles on. very common on aftermarket 4x4 truck bumpers

kick a** bumper by the way!!

It's usually done this way because the put the shackle mount right in front of the frame mount. So when you pull on the shackle the forces are transfered to the frame straight on, whereas if there was only one mount in the middle the forces would want to bend the bumper in a "taco" shape, clear as mud?

Wow, very nice. I too am one to cut butter with a chain saw, LOL.

The two shackle points are a nice touch!
