Default 2004 Polaris 700 Sportsman

Have a 04 Polaris 700 Sportsman that has developed spit and sputter. Changed plugs and has new gas still missing!

check the tbap sensor wire harness. if you do asearch you'll see theres been a rash of them that had to be replaced for some reason. it might be the reason for your missing.

Default Is t-bap sensors only for EFI

My 04 700 sportsman has a carb. Runs fine at idle and no noticable miss until around 3400 to 3900 rpm. After 3900 rpm it seems as if a powerband kicks in and after it starts to slow down it backfires.
