I'm wondering how it the yellow plastic holding up on the new SPs? Wear and tear, scratching, losing its shine, etc.

I found it frustrating that the red on my Xplorer started fading\wearing withing 6 months of purchase. I believe that since yellow is lighter in colour . . . it would dirt more easily.

My two yellow ones look just fise they even still have the glassy look in most spots. So the yellow works just fine.

The yellow on my 99 Sport is holding up well. Yellow seems to hide screatches very well. I was surprised at the color difference when I installed a new yellow nosepiece. I don't know if it's due to color fading or just a variance in the plastic, seeing that the nosepiece is for a TrailBlazer. You can see the diiference at my site.

So far so good on my Explorer, I love it and I think that it hides the scratches pretty good also.
