Polaris Sportsman 90
#1
I bought a 2004 Polaris Sportsman90 for my son. I have never owned a two stroke and have a few questions:
- The machine runs great, but seems to vibrate excessively once it gets moving. Is this normal for a 2 stroke?
- How much throttle should be needed to get this moving? It's geared in all the time. (No neutral or reverse)
- Any suggestions on oil? Looking for something a little more economical than the expensive Polaris oils.
Thanks for the info.

Any 2 stroke injection oil will work. On my sleds I like Castrol. Polaris probaby uses Synthetic, that is more pricey.
Heres what it looks likes for bikes.

I have one sled with over 8000 miles using Castrol conventional 2 stroke oil. I like Synthetic for 4 strokes but its to much $$ to dump in a 2 stroke.
