Default Newly Rebuilt and can't go

I just rebuilt my 03 trailboss and the cdi burned out as is previously posted. Does anyone know, will the 02 cdi work on the 03. My dealer says he has no idea. Same connectors, Also the rectifier also. I believe if I put in a new cdi the rectifier should be changed also. I just rebuilt this ans am now stuck having to drop another $500 in it just to run it. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks Tony T

Try looking at the Polaris web site and see if the part numbers are the same. If you have not used their site before you will have to register, but it's free.

the trailboss 330 hasn't been changed much since they came out, just some plastic changes so i'm sure it'll work

Since your dealer does not know, it should be his job to find out - IMO!
And IF you still take a chance on buying it to make it work will he honor a RETURN
if it doesn't? I would put it back on him!

Regards,

R'

If I buy new from the dealer I will simply buy the right year. The problem is it is almost another $500 in a $1300 quad that is simply a spare for when someone wants to ride with us. I can buy used for 1/3 of that but it would be for an 02 and not an 03. Cannot find the used one that fits an 03 or an 04. Tony

RM Stator has no parts available. Cycle parts is till about 400.00. I am trying to avoid that. I only need CDI and Rectifier. I would almost part the bike out and buy another one before I put 400 more into this. Tony
