Few on ebay.1987 Polaris 250 rear caliper | eBay Probably would need rebuilding no matter which one you got. Seals and piston(if damaged) are hard to find.1987 Polaris 250 rear caliper | eBay

Default Caliper

I have checked everywher on earth and i have no luck findi a caliper but i found 1 for a 87 250cc 2x4 , would that work on my 4x4 ? I would like to find out befor i spend money for nothing .

I seen one on ebay that needs rebuild but all the shops i talked to said they cant get piston anymore .

That's the problem on the older models,obsolete repair parts. Both seals and piston are NLA every where.You could try a good auto store and see if you match the seals up or try to adapt an 89-90 caliper with the manual foot pedal work. Seal kits and pistons are still available for those.

Would a 250cc 2x4 caliper work on the 4x4 ?

Best way you can tell is by the part number. Look on Polaris Parts at your model and see what other year models may work.Browse

1987 ATV TRAIL BOSS 4X4 Rear Brake Caliper Assembly (49147514750035)

Appears that you may be able to make an 89 Trail Boss 4x4 caliper work (W898127.) Plus rebuild kits are still available.1930666 - KIT BRAKE SEALS&PISTON | eBay Caliper part#'s 1910046 or #1910073 are what you can keep a check on ebay for..Other than that I couldn't say..
