Rubber Down quality are top notch if you decide to go at that height... Tire upgrade first then a lift kit would be my suggestion....

I have the RDC Gen II lift and love it doesn't affect handling but you get that extra bit of clearance and I just running 26" Big Horns it does pull the tires in a bit so width is just a hair less than stock but I am running 1" wheel spacers on the back. I talked 2 buddies into running the Gen I lift on their 09 XP's and they love the lift as well just gives you that bit extra and machine isn't much more top heavy just a little bit but we didn't get into any problems riding mud, hills whatever out in Southern Alberta in the mountains. I can post up some pics if you like just let me know. Paul at RDC is topnotch to deal with as well great guy!

Nice looking rig. Thanks for posting. I'll take a look at that option for sure. Likely start with rubber first.....

I bolted on my new 27" XTR's and it really uped my ground clearance! I measured the front before the tire and it was 12 5/8" to the front tie down hook. After the new XTR's it measured 14 1/4" of ground clearance. and 13 3/4" in the rear. It is pretty awesome when I can crawl trhu the mud my buddies stock XP's get stuck in.

Cool.....That's what I'm looking for IQ. Do your XTRs measure true to form, or smaller than stated?
