Default 03 Polaris Sportsman 600 REAR WHEELS problems!

I have a 03 polaris sportsman 600, iam having issues with the rear wheels slatting in looking like this / \ from the back. I changed the a-arms and shocks thinking that would help the problem it did but not for long after one ride they went back to slatting. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

did you change the springs when you did the shocks as they are what really gets worn out.

Had a similar issue on my 500. The spring were worn out. I put some epi 140lb springs on the rear and it flattened everything back out, made the ride stiffer, but it was worth it to improve the handling and ground clearance.

Double check all the a arm bushings, upper and lower. But probably a case of your springs getting soft and worn out.

There is a difference between the springs and the shocks. You can have good shocks with worn out springs on them. If you don't have any play in any of the bushings it is worn out springs.

I would think the springs are worn. I did the EPI springs and it definately helped the front. In the back the shocks do need to be replaced but I agree with the other posts about the springs. They are what keeps the machine at the correct ride height...
