OK, so I got ahold of the dealer and he said he had to clean both carbs and make minor adjustments, he had both of them running but know one of them sheared the magneto drive off the crankshaft and died the parts are on the way from polaris now. so we will wait for that and see if they stay running fine for them until i pick them up.

Sounds like it back fired when the dealer was playing with the carb and that broke your flywheel key . Once your carbs are set which they should of been from day one you should no longer have any troubles . Mine have never been adjusted , cleaned or off in 8000 miles or 3 years .

that would be fantastic. that is what we are hoping for. If these things are half as trouble free as the Big Bear I used to have I would be very pleased. by the way I have purchased two brackets for winches on these and then bought winches with brackets so if anybody needs one let me know

I remember OPT(He is a Polaris dealer Mechanic on this site) saying that if the idle is set to low on the 500,he has seen the flywheel key way sheer off for some odd reason.

Let us know what the dealer says on the problem, it may be of help for other people for years to come.

I finally got them back they rebuilt the carb in one machine and had to make adjustments in two places on both machines. What ever they did it worked great we took them to Mudbuddy's on Sat and ran them for about 4 hours and they ran great. no problems. I will be using stabil with every fill up just in case. thanks for all your help guys
