Take your belt off then push on clutch cover (you'll be pushing against spring pressure) towards engine then look at top of weight( 3 of them) for wear should be smooth no grooves or notches.

The 3 weights look okay as far as I can tell.

I bought a primary puller today, but I have read that tearing down a primary clutch requires other special tools. Did I just waste $20 on a puller?

How hard is it to clean up and/or repair a primary?
