Default 03 sportman 700 odometer problem

My old Odomiter got moisture in it and slowly quit working. I ordered a new one and installed it and it will just show a E 0. I know the sensors are good

Does your AWD still work? you need a working speedo for the AWD to work.

To test the AWD,just nose up to a tree or solid wall in low range 4wd , if the rear wheels break lose only then the awd is not working due to the speedo not working.

Only two option, buy another speedo ($300 plus) or do the AWD wirring bypass trick. Do a search on this site about it. The ATV will have a normal working AWD even without a speedo, many people have done it. Its what I will do when the time comes, the speedo sure does not give me $300 worth ot info.

That was a dump move when Polaris made the speedo a component of the AWD back in 2000.

As long as you feel the install was done correctly, I would try and exchange for a different speedo. If it was new and doesn't work you should be able to get a new one...
