Question weighing options, making sure bases are covered.

hey folks, i'm looking into picking up a sportsman soon, still trying to decide if its truly what i want, and on top of that, make sure I wont regret getting teh 550. I've been investigating aftermarket accessories and wanted to know if there was anything wrong with my list or maybe more I could look into. parts will be ordered over time so there is no rush whatsoever i'm just OCD and want to fill in my excel spreadsheet....seriously.

body/storage:
pure deluxe front, side, and rear guards
pure CV guards F&B
warn RT3 winch (from Pure)
pure front storage container
WES ar-36 rear seat/storage container
reverse/work light if available
full skid plate

performance:
MSD performance coil and wire
power commander
HMF swampXL exhaust kit( they do make a kit right?)
better tires than stock
hotseat or dalton clutch kit
HID light upgrade kit
K&N air filter
prefilter (for airbox modding from what i have read)

Man! If your going to be modding a 550 with the list you got, why not go ahead and get the 850 which will have more umph than a modded 550 from the get go. I've done a few mods to my 500, Don't need more power. I've just gotten bored and look for ways to improve whats there. If I had the 850 I might still look for ways to mod it. It's a sickness with no cure. I have my 500 exactly the way I want it, and yet find myself staring at it wondering what else I can/should do to it.

I'd look at a Viper winch instead, save alot over a dealer cost warn and be just as good.
Think about how much your performance mods will cost $ and subtract that from the cost of the 850xp over the 550. If it's close, then forget the mods and go with displacement. Think about resale. Nobody wants to touch a bike that has performance mods done to it.

thanks, i'll check out viper, and by biggest qualm with the 850 is losing teh gas mileage of the 550. as far as mods, those are as far as i'd be willing to go, and even the clutch kit is a skeptical move (havent read any OMG WOWs about it). As for the MSD, PC, and exhaust, i'd do those to an 850 as well, so kind of a moot point in my book.
