White spring installed
#1
Picked up the white spring from my dealer the other day and installed it on Saturday. Comparing the original blue/green with the white the difference appears to be only the length, the white being about 1/2" longer.
Testing was limited to ripping up and down the street outside my house 3 times (my neighbours might call the cops if I did it too many more times). Engagement is most definitely at a higher rpm as expected and in low range would lift the front wheels off the ground a little. In high range it pulled better than stock all the way up the rev range till I ran out of road at about 45 mph. It's not a major difference but a noticeable improvement. Unfortunately I was unable to do time trials to substantiate my impressions never the less I am satisfied with the results. I will post results after I give it a thorough test, hopefully this weekend.

Yeah I had a 1/2" to3/4" differance in length,But the other differance was one full spring coil more. The blue was (I think)4-5 loops while the white was 5-6,I imagine the green has one more.
It's great for deep water crossing(easier to lift the front up).
Check out the post"belt blown apart"(hopefully this wont be a problem

I checked out the "Blown Belt" post, very interesting. I replaced my belt with the OEM at the same time I installed the white spring, the original belt had 1700 miles on it and was down to it's min width probably due to aggressive riding. I will be sure to keep an eye on this one. Thanks for the tip off.
