sportsman 500 efi drives it self when warmed up
Well i was having problems where the machine would run fine, then once warmed up, would sputter and die randomly... I sent the stator out and it passed all tests thrown at it. I put it all back together and it did not help. I then started checking all sensors, The one on top of the air intake tube was loose, so i zip tied the sensor so it would not wiggle loose... seemed to help a lot... coincidence, i dont know...
it drove great for 10 miles, or around 3 trips, however when it warms up now, i can be driving, come to a stop, and the machine hi-idles and starts to drive away... RPMS get to around 1900-2000 rpms... I can blip the throttle, and it will not drop down. i turn the machine off since it becomes unsafe and i want to save my belt... It starts right back up and all is normal....
I am afraid to leave it idle as i fear it will run away... what could this issue be?
It is a 2007 sportsman 500 efi deluxe, has 80 hours and 600 miles on it
