Installed the kit a couple of days ago and it works great!
Especially like that there is several settings like mentioned, if you want to have it on all the time for an example

Could someone please post all the part numbers required to complete this conversion? I understand I need the wiring kit from e-bay but am unsure what else is needed. Thank you!

Sounds like you guys may need to solder in a resistor that you can buy from Radio Shack. This would most likely eliminate your problem with messing up the ECU. A relay itself wont fix that problem. I used this for my Jeep to hard wire my tail lights to be used while towing.

Default Back up lights

[QUOTE=bjugen;2968039]Think i got the general idea and will give it a try, if my mechanical skills holds up

But, is there anyone that has done this mod "electrical"
I plow with mine as well. I have the 850 sportsman xp. It doesn't have back up lights and i wanted to do the same thing your talking about, but I found it much easier to just get a couple small 4" LEDs a mounted them to the rear of my machine and just use an on/off switch. When plowing I just turn them on and leave it that way until I'm finished plowing.
