It should be at 3000. Should be closer to the 2200-2400 range with the orange. The dark green will bring it down a couple hundred. Im not sure if we checked or not but make sure the weights say 10-58 on the side of them.

And once you get a few miles on them the engagement will smooth out a little more also. But with the kit it should still be a trail freindly set up.

So, I just got in my Drk Green primary sping from EPI to replace the orange...... Much better, way more trail friendly, that orange spring was a pure sand racer or mud bogger spring.

Thanks for all your help and EPICRaig, you guys might want to think about including the green as oppossed to the orange.

I considermyslef about and aggressive sport utility rider I know and it was still too abrupt for me..

Default EPI clutch kit ride report

Ride report on my 02 700 sportsman with 800 dual header, 800 intake, .025" neddle shims and and 165 main jetand stock tires. Now that I have my EPI sport/utlity clutch kit install with the Drk Green primary sping opposed to the stock orange. Peg the throttle from a dead stop lifts the font wheel for about two feet comes up to rpms and just pulls, no surges or flat spots all the way up to 61MPH, had to let off. Back shifting feels quick and EBS still works well, which surprised as the Helix looked a lot different.

Overall I am happy, I will update when I do some serious trail rides.

Good to hear!!

I have a '07 700 EFI and will be installing a EPI kit over the winter. I think I'll go for the bigger tire kit as will also likely go with a 27" more aggressive radial tire too.
