I joined this fourm to get some help on a project I got recently:

Polaris 350L 4X4 2-cycle ATV

I bought this, being told all it needed was a new pistion, but came to find out the old pistion cracked and caused alot of damage in the lower end. The whole case is cracked, i couldnt see it through the mud & dirt, and needs to be replaced or find another engine that will fit in its place.

New replacement engine?

New/Used farm engine? (maybe 4-cycle?)

Make it a lawn ornamint?

have you checked ebay for used engines?

 

yeah just looked on ebay and there is a guarenteed usable crank+rod for a 350 $115+cases for $40 or so.

 

you could start looking for a 400 2 stroke motor. should fall right in place

 

ive got a 350 parts bike with a motor that has a good bottom end. Needs top end done on it due to a scored piston. I could even rebuild it for you if your interested and ship it to you. Where do you live? I sent you a personal message with my number if your interested.

 

I have 92 Trail boss 4x4, low mileage. Has been wrecked. was still full of Fuel and anti-freeze when retrieved.Dammage was to top of bike. Plastic, Racks and handle bars. and one CV joint on front. Ran great. I will part or sell it all.
