I put the battery charger on my 05 polaris magnum 330.The next day I go to start it and the check engine lights flashing and it says its hot!Mind you it was just started so wasnt overheating.And the fan isnt coming on either.From what Ive read there was recalls on the ecm.Ive read similar stories on other polaris's but every story says the fan is constanly running wich is not the case on this polaris.What do you guys think?Any help is greatly apreciated.

 

there were recalls on ecm, not sure if yours is one, looking at the parts diaram, it only has an oil cooler , no radiator, it still has a temp sensor, its # 14on the parts diagram, put 12 volts directly to the fan and see if it works, if it does I would say it is the sensor or maybe bad ecm, I looked at the parts on Ronnies .com

 

Ok I just put 12 volts directly to the fan and nothing.Thanks for ideas.Apprecited

 

fans bad , go on ebay ,you can get the same fan for much less
