Any changes needed if I install this tire/wheel combination on a 09 800 Sportsman

I am lucky to have found a good dealer who cares about his business name and reputation. The bad part is he is 125 miles from me... Local dealer is not the best either. But now I deal only with the guys at Cannon Powersports in cannon falls MN!!!

ur dealer won't tell u if there for an older sportsman or an xp? i think what kerbbirds meant about trying them first is after u put the tires on, see if u think u need to do anything to the clutch. U shouldn't have to beings that most of the sportsmans come with 26" tires as it is

Wolfjon,
I hope I don't need longer studs. If I do how long would I need and do you get them from Polaris? How do you change the studs? The last time I messed with them was on a Honda 250R and you had to press them out.
Thanks

Well the studs are pressed in but not to hard. I was able to knock them out with a hammer. I replaced mine with 1-1/2" grade 8 bolts. Easy to do and doesn't take long at all. The only way you are gonna know how long of stud to get is the measure out the rims... Being the fact that they are Polaris rims(if that's the ones your gonna go with) the stock studs might work
