2005 Front alignment question
#1
I have a Polaris 2005 500 HO and when I put a 6' straight edge across the two axles the front of the front tires are in around a 3/8 of an inch. Is this what they should be or should they be parallel with the rear tires? Thanks in advance. Tim

Your doing it correctly and it should be1/8 to 1/4 toed out, I tie a string to the trailer hitch, pullit around the rear tire atroughly the same height as the hitch, tie it to a heavy jack stad in front of the front tire, get the string so its barely touching the front of rear tirethen measure to the string at front and rear of front tire

go PartShark.com. go to downloads on the home page.
Buddy just sent me this message this is a free download site for service manuals. I have not used it yet but then again I just got the e-mail yesterday.
Good luck.

WOW!! Partshark.com will be awsome if they send me the manuals I requested... The reason I said it like that is every manual and catalog is from 09.... so IF they're still in business it's a great place for info in the form of free manuals. Thanks King Quad! If anyone is interested, I have a link for owners manuals for hondas (my buddy bought a honda and it didn't come with one) if anybody's interested.
