Hard to believe a company who makes snowmobiles would make a atv with a cold start issue. Polaris even makes 4 stroke sled that I,m sure have to start up below freezing many times.

cold weather issue

My 2011 850 is 2 weeks old so I called the dealer.He took my VIN # and informed me that mine had the "newest" pcv valve and should have no issues.So call your dealer and have yours checked.

So as far as these pcv issues go am I correct in saying there isn't any official recall in place as of now? My buddy is looking at a couple 2010 XP's and am just wondering...Thanks...

got my new valve, it was identical to whyat was in it, maybe it didnt need the"upgrade afterall, let us know if you haer of another one, we havent had any trouble with either of ours

Without seeing the new replacement, how can we tell if it needs the upgrade or not...Being a 2010 changes are there wasn't any upgrade done but not sure...Time will tell..
