I have a buddy that is going to look at a 2005 Polaris 400 "limited" tomorrow that is for sale. I've never heard of a 400 limited, so I'm wondering, is this possible and if so, what makes it a limited? It's red in color if that helps anyone picture this machine...

nver heard on a limited. maybe it had specail rims or small add ons like difernt colors or products that came only onthe limited. in certain years they did make specail editions like the freedom bikes in 02' as well as a richard petty 500.

 

I also never heard of it, Limited usually only means a special color, winch included or nicer rims.

Ask him if it had this ECM recall done. Polaris Industries Recall of Select Model Year 2004.5 and 2005 Sportsman and 2005 Model Year Scrambler ATVs
