400 ho clutch ?????

Default 400 ho clutch ?????

Was wandering if anyone could tell me or give me a website that I can find the demensions of the clutch springs and rollers and what not for my 2010 sportsman ho so i can get a clutch kit set up.

I think the only thing you can change are the rollers and that is for altitude only. There are no springs.

maybe I misunderstood him he said the wachs or something like that beacuse it does not have a primary and secondary like the usual polaris has ??

On the 2010 400 the clutches are made by AEON they are not the standard clutches that are used on other Polaris atvs. Not sure what mods can be done to this assembly if any? OPT

Wow never knew that they make cluches without a spring.

YEP, there quite a bit different! I tore into a one checking for excessive noise. Nut had backed off and amplified the noise through the metal clutch cover. OPT

They use a clutch system similar to Arctic Cat and Suzuki. I havent had one apart to see if the springs and weights are the same as the those brands though.

That what we are talking about ,the clutches have no springs whats so ever which is really different . Not sure if its a improvement or cost saving idea.
