Thanks for replying. Well, if it is plastic I believe the crack can be plastic welded....i think. I do know there are folks that "plastic weld" plastic boat lift tanks. Yes, retired here to and loving it also.

6 months now,I know what month and year it is,but sometimes forget what day it is! They kinda run together! But keeping busy and wouldn't change it for anything! I worked long enough: 17 years in one profession,23 in motorcycles, atvs and watercraft, plus about 10 years drifting around in my younger years. BUT back on the subject at hand, have seen some repairs on some machines and most don't look bad at all, just depends on how badly damaged the composite is. Best looking repair jobs are the ones where people sew cracked fenders together with wire! Looks like Frankenstein, lol OPT

I just went to Wikipedia and it has about 7 options for plastic welding, so there are techniques. The place I am talking about is actually the front rack that also extends down, it is black....if that describes it. I also went to the Polaris www page but could not find a "contact us" link to ask them. Maybe I can find a delaer around here that may know, hopefully someone will chime in soon. Been retired 8 years, am busier now than when I worked full time.....
