2011 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO Idle question
I have noticed that over the last couple days when I initially start my quad its idling low compaired to when I got it. they bumped the idle up once to 1130 and now when its cold its down to 970-1030 and it makes the starts harder. if it was adjusted up to 1100 shouldnt it stay there? when its warm its idling at the 1120-1140 range but when its cold (been sitting for a day or so without being ran) its low and rough starting have to give it some gas even with choke to get it to fire up

As you break in your sportsman you may need to adjust the throttle cable a bit. Or may just need a slight choke adjustment.YouTube - ‪Polaris ATV Maintenance & Repair Tips : Polaris ATV Thumb Throttle Maintenance Tips‬‏
