Which 450 do you have?
I have a 2004 TRX450R, but actually it is now a 480R with port & polish, Stage II cam and full Yosh system and I had no trouble up against the Outlaw KTM 525 or the Polaris 525.
And I wasn't directing my "shooting off my mouth" comment towards you.

The Outlaw has the same motor as KTM's 525 EXC Dirt bike and which can eat any stock 450 motocross out there.
The EXC has no race class because its in a league (Displacement Class) of it,s own.
Throw that motor in any ATV and its a no brainer who smokes who.
Try and bring a EXC525 into a 450 motocross race and you will be disqualified and kicked out,I guarantee it.

For the price of the ktm, I could buy a yfz and put the extra money into it and make it just as nice.
But you can't beet the ktm, for around 9000 you get a 525 and all the extras. Definetly sweet deal.
See what you would pay to turn a 450 into a 525 plus extras would be over 9000 by far.
So in all honesty ktm has a hell of a deal.
