Default which would you keep/buy??!

Hey guys...so awhile back I picked up a clean 2008 Polaris outlaw 525 irs. I got a decent deal on it. Got a guy now wanting to give me about 300 more than I paid. I'm lookin at a 2006 kfx 400 which is 300 less than I paid for the outlaw. That's a $600 swing. Pretty much pats for my trailer!! I know this is the Polaris section.... But what are your thoughts??

I wouldn't trade for an older quad with a smaller engine and no IRS, no matter what brand either one is.

Well just my 2 cents but you'll enjoy the kfx more. I'll take the 400 and smoke the 525 repetitively!

The KTM powered Polaris Outlaw IRS is one of the fastest stock machines out there. I'd stick with it. Serious power and clearance to shoot over rocks, stumps, roots, etc. And you can dial in the stiffness of the shocks to the degree you're happy.

scooter is right, i also own a 08 outlaw 525irs like you and i can snack on 400's all day and night. plus ide keep the money invested in your polaris because you would have to sink alot more then 600 into aftermarkets to achieve the same power, and even then still may not touch a outlaw. all i can say is the outlaw is got plenty more power and imo better on the trails. i had a z400 so i got an idea what your trading for. i say unless you got your heart set on a straight axel then dont sell.

also i wouldnt trade a newer quad for a older quad without irs either.

Right, but you guys dont know how to ride!

I'm a professional

I offer training 50$ an hour. 5000$ later you might be able to at least tag along!

I agree with JF, moose & scooter86-

keep the outlaw 100%

(but that's just me- and I go through atv's like pimp420 goes through alibi's)

Irs would take some getting use to, swingarm is the way to go. Bet they ride nice. Doesn't the new honda 700 have irs? Has to feel sketchy riding hard powersliding around burms and what not. Just weird how sport quads are adapting into these whole other beasts!
