Ok I was all excited I just got my first four wheeler. It was running a little rich and it was popping just a little and I could tell it was getting too much gas. I did a little research on different forums and I found that I needed to adjust the idle screw. I started the four wheeler and as it was running I adjusted in small increments. I got it idling better and no more popping. I wanted to let it run for a little while. I was watering the dog and when I got back to the four wheeler it had died. I tried to start it with no luck. It used to start first try. I tried and tried. No luck. Tried adjusting the idle adjustment screw back to original location. Still couldnt get it to start. Is there a starting location and a set amount of turns to get you in the ballpark? I have been tinkering with it and I cant get it started. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Replace the spark plug, sounds like you have a fouled plug, then start at TWO turns out from lightly seated position on carb adjustment. If after adjustment still runs rich, may have to replace the needle and seat. Fuel air screw mainly affects the idle. OPT

Thanks. I feel like a idiot. I fouled out my spark plug and didnt even think of it. I got new plug and installed. Put idle screw to two turns. I had to tweak it just a little to about 2.5 turns. Its running now. Thank you guys. I really appreciate the help.
