I need to register my 2002 Sportsman 700 for this year and the old reg was waterlogged and unreadable. The VIN on the tag on the hood is worn off. Is there somewhere on the frame that the VIN is stamped on a polaris Sportsman?

Left side lower front frame is where the vin # it is etched. OPT

 

I am assuming you mean when sitting on the quad (left side) down in between the A-Arm mounts?

 

Yes as you are sitting on the atv,but vin # past the a-arm mounts! OPT

 

Just go to the license place and tell them that you need a new ownership as yours got destroyed . There sell you one for a few bucks .

 

In New Hampshire there are no ATV titles, you just use the VIN#
